          Auto Screenshot Maker has a very easy, user-friendly interface. After installation, it usually stays in system tray, and can be used by hotkeys only. For example, by pressing "Prnt Scrn" hotkey user can save whole desktop to a screenshot file. If then user needs to edit the captured image, he can open it in an image edit program by clicking "Open the latest capture" button from user interface of the program, or by pressing hotkey bind for this operation (by default the latest captured screenshot will be opened in MS Paint). You can even e-mail just captured screenshot to your friend or colleague! Just click "Email the latest capture" button, or press hotkey combination - and other people will receive your screenshot in a few seconds right in their mail boxes!

          Auto Screenshot Maker supports all Window operating systems starting with NT. Therefore, no matter, which operating system you use, Auto Screenshot Maker will always work for you!

Capture a series of screenshots automatically

The software lets you capture the action on the screen in a series of snap shots made over a predefined period of time (e.g. 10 seconds).

Remove duplicates automatically

Auto Screenshot Maker checks if the current screenshot is similar to the previous and removes the duplicate automatically, so that you don’t have to do it yourself.

Open the latest captured image

The feature lets you open the latest captured screenshot file in an image editor (MS Paint by default). If MS Word document output is selected, then MS Word document containing the latest captured image will be opened. One can launch the feature from user interface or using hotkey defined in Preferences->Hotkeys section.

Email the latest captured image

The feature lets you email the latest captured screenshot file (files, if multiple outputs were selected) in a few seconds. One can launch the feature from user interface or using hotkey defined in Preferences->Hotkeys section.

Hotkeys

Almost all actions, which user can make from user interface, can as well be performed using hotkey combinations. Here’s the list of operations which can be done by hotkeys:

  • capture full screen ("Prnt Scrn" by default);
  • capture active window screen ("Alt+Prnt Scrn" by default);
  • capture selected region ("Ctrl+Prnt Scrn" by default);
  • open the latest captured image ("Alt+O" by default);
  • email the latest captured image ("Alt+E" by default);
All hotkey combinations can be easily redefined in Preferences->Hotkeys section.

Automatic updates

If switched on, the feature is checking the server for the latest version of Auto Screenshot Maker. If this is the case, then dialog suggesting download and install of the latest version of Auto Screenshot Maker will appear. The feature can be switched on/off from menu: Help->Enable Automatic Updates.

Start with Windows

This feature will add Auto Screenshot Maker application to auto startup, i.e. Auto Screenshot Maker will be launched automatically when Windows starts.
